It encompasses the world's oldest organized sports, the most-watched events of Olympic broadcasts, the most important high school and junior high school participatory sport and more than 30 million adult runners in the United States. It is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization with a staff of professional program administrators at the National Office in Indianapolis. The mission of USA Track & Field is to foster sustained competitive excellence, interest, and participation in the sports of track & field, long distance running, and race walking.

ATHLETIX.ORG - European all time male and female lists for all athletic disciplines. This site is built, designed and updated by Panayotis Christopoulos and Michalis Nikitaridis, since early 1997. Michalis has been a Track & Field fan and statistician for many years and is the first Greek that entered the T&F mailing list and provided all major T&F sites with results of Greek meetings. Today he is a frequent contributor to the IAAF website, posting news and reports from the action in Greece. Panayotis was an athlete during the 90s (middle distance runner) and now works as a journalist for "K Magazine", the weekly supplement of one of Athens leading papers, "Kathimerini".
